Bernard Floyd Manning Jr., 76, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was born April 12, 1935 in Spring Hope to the late Bernard Floyd Manning, Sr. and Lela Bullock Manning. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Manning and his sister, Peggy Beecham. He is survived by his son, Bernard F. Manning III, his daughters, Becky Manning Skinner and Sandy Manning, his brother, Tim Manning and wife Michelle, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 11 at 11 a.m. at the Millbranch Cemetery in Rocky Mount with Gary Blood officiating.
