Nashville - Nancy Harper Evans, 87, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007. She was born October 4, 1919 to the late William and Nan Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Evans, and a brother, Robert Harper of Rocky Mount; half-brother, Edward Harper also of Rocky Mount.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Waggoner and husband Roland of Rocky Mount, Linda Braswell of Nashville; granddaughters, Faye Smith and husband, Marlin of Nashville; Danese Stapleford and husband, Sam of Nashville, Paulette Langley and husband, Levell of Rocky Mount; grandson, Cameron Waggoner of Rocky Mount; great-grandchildren, Kelly Massenburg and husband, Antwain of Rocky Mount, Leslie Smith of Nashville, Zachary Langley of Rocky Mount.

The funeral was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Gault officiating. The family received friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
