Mildred Elizabeth King died on March 6, 2012.  She was born on May 9, 1923 to the late Robert Allen King and Mildred Thorp King.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Elizabeth is survived by numerous cousins.

A funeral service was  held at The Church of the Good Shepherd at 231 N. North Church Street at 2:00pm Monday, March 12, 2012 with Rev. Scott White officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Church of The Good Shepherd 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 or to Braswell Memorial Library, 727 North Grace Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
