Clarice Lloyd Flowers, 79, passed away on March 11, 2012.  He was born in Nash County June 21, 1932 to the late Wiley Robert and Myrtie Bryant Flowers.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cosette Manning Flowers of the home; son, Randy C. Flowers and wife, Angie of Rocky Mount; daughters, Gale Flowers Wright and husband, Steve of Raleigh, Debbie Flowers Baines of Nashville; brothers, Jack Flowers and wife, Sylvia of Zebulon, Bruce Flowers and wife, Caffie of Zebulon; sisters, Lula Gray Newcombe of Middlesex, Marybelle Phillips and husband, Herman of Wendell, Peggy Medlin and husband, Jerry of Rocky Mount, Linda Blackley and husband, Eugene of Clayton, Margie Flowers of Middlesex; five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sherwood, Glen, and Cameron Flowers.

A service will be held at  7 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Parker officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.  A Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Manning Family Cemetery in Momeyer.
