HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Mary Jo Evans, 60, who died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, will be Thursday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating.

Surviving: husband, Sidney R. Evans of the home; daughters, Fonda Evans, Fatima Evans, Jasmyn Evans, all of Hollister; sisters, Mildred Wilsher of Wilson, Rosa Reid and Celestine Richardson, both of Whitakers, Joyce Brown and Wanda Baker, both of Newport News, Va.; brothers, Henry Harrison Jr. and David Lynch, both of Nashville, Charles Harrison of Rocky Mount, Dennis Harrison of Whitakers; four grandchildren.

Wake services will be Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 7 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
