Lettie Doris Pearsall, 74, passed away on Thursday February 3, 2012. Doris was born in Nash County on February 16, 1937, the daughter of Tom and Annie White Woodruff. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Milton Woodruff and Tommy Morris Woodruff.

She is survived by Edward Lee Pearsall, her husband of 56 years, sister, Mary W. Temple, and special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Parker officiating.
