Patricia (Pat) Ann Spruill Harrell, 80, of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Autumn Care of Nash.

She was born September 6, 1931 in Tyrrell County, the daughter of the late Charlie Warren Spruill and Mary Elsie Spruill. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, as well as, her husband of 42 years, Norman F. Harrell.

She is survived by her son, Butch Harrell and his wife, Dorie of Marietta, GA; her daughter, Carol Harrell of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Dr. Chet Rains officiating.
