Donald G. Davis, age 75, of Sharpsburg passed away January 13, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Bass Davis; mother and father, Ida H. and Raymond B. Davis; and brother, Rudolph Davis.

He is survived by his two sons Keith and Kathy Davis of Sharpsburg, Andy and Donna Davis of Sharpsburg; sister,  Carol D. and Frank Edwards of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 16th, at 11am in the chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sharpsburg Fire Department, PO Box 275, Sharpsburg NC 27878, or the American Cancer Society.
