ROCKY MOUNT - Retha Thorne Walker, 81, of Rocky Mount, died on Friday, January 6, 2012, at Heritage Hospital in Tarboro.

Funeral Services were held at 12 p.m., with a visitation prior to the Funeral, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.  Rev. Richard Battle officiated.  The interment took place immediately following the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
