NASHVILLE - Carl Braxton Creekmore, 84, died on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Carl was born in Franklin County to the late Aaron and Kathleen Creekmore and was preceded in death by a brother Wayne Creekmore.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Gloria Hinton Creekmore; daughters, Courtney Bass and husband Lance of Spring Hope; Claire Norton and husband Terry of Irmo, SC; son David Creekmore and wife Samantha of Rocky Mount; three grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday December 31, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Arnold and Rev. Roy Parker officiating. Burial  followed at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.
