Thomas Wade Lambert, 72, passed away Thursday December 22, 2011. He was born December 23, 1938 in Ashe County, son of the late Paul Jackson and Mabel Allie Mash Lambert. 

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Paul Lambert and a sister, June Walker.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Simmons Lambert; son, Tommy Lambert and wife, Maria of Nashville; daughters, Karen Lambert Allen and husband, Gene of Rocky Mount, Debbie Lambert Rolband and husband, Gary of Charlotte, Linda Lambert Stussie of Nashville. He is also survived by his brother, David Lambert of Crumpler and his sisters Ruth Barnes (Joe) of Crumpler, Ethelene Roark ( Boyce) of Rocky Mount; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Thomas Wade Lambert will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Shenandoah Baptist Church 3894 (Shenandoah Dr. Rocky Mount, NC 27803) with Rev. Glenn Hill and Steve Edmondson officiating.  Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
