NASHVILLE - Lena Denton King passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.

She was born in Nash County, February 12, 1916 to William Vance and Mary Elizabeth Denton.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Kerr King.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann K. Johnson of the home and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, December 9, 2011 at Oak View Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.
