Alvin Wayne Batchelor Sr., 65, of Nashville, NC passed away on Monday afternoon, December 5, 2011. Wayne was born in Nashville, NC to the late W.T. and Eunice Batchelor.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha Batchelor, two sons, Alvin Wayne Batchelor Jr. and wife Tracy of Spring Hope, Craig Wallace Batchelor and wife Tracey of Nashville, three brothers, Ray and wife Gail of Enfield, Albert and wife Judy of Nashville, Ralph and wife Sylvia of Nashville, one sister, Deborah Kincheloe and husband John of Rocky Mount, four grandchildren, Doug, Amber, Laken and Blair.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 7, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday December 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Gurganus and Rev. Barbee officiating.
