Shirley Brantley Medlin, 73, passed away November 27, 2011.  She was born January 8, 1938 in Nash County daughter of the late Gurley and Mendie Morris Brantley.

Surviving are a son, Wayne Medlin of Spring Hope; daughter, Anita Sickles of Millington, TN; sisters, Annie Brantley and Lois Driver both of Spring Hope; seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Brantley Family Cemetery, Spring Hope, with the Rev. Reuben Batchelor officiating.
