David Lee Garrett, 88, passed away November 25, 2011. Born in Laurens, SC in 1923, he was the son of the late Hosee Lee and Aileen Garrett.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucille; his daughter, Davia Wells and husband Tim of Boones Mill, VA; daughter, Belinda Faulkner and husband John of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in the Chapel of Memories at Rocky Mount Memorial Gardens in Rocky Mount on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice of Rocky Mount, NC.
