NASHVILLE - LeRoy Whitaker, 83, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. from the First Timothy Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Griffin officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Rubyleen B. Whitaker of the home; one daughter, Sandra Edwards, of the home; three sisters, Hattie Brake, Mabell Bloomers and Addie Flordia Mae Whitaker, all of Philadelphia, PA; and three grandchildren.
