Edgar Cornell Abrams, 60, passed away Monday October 31, 2011. He was born October 30, 1951 in Edgecombe County. Edgar was the son of the late Moses and Fannie Mills Abrams.

He is survived by his wife of two weeks, Yvonne Boe Abrams, four sons, Eddie Ray Abrams and wife Judy of LaGrange, Scottie Abrams and wife Elizabeth of Rocky Mount, Chadwick Abrams and wife Jill,  Kenneth Abrams all of Wilson, one daughter, Heather Abrams of Wilson, one brother, Donald Ray Abrams and wife Marie of Mt. Olive, one sister, Linda Sue Kersey of Mt. Olive, seventeen grandchildren; one special grandchild;  and two great-grandchildren.
