ROCKY MOUNT – Barbara Childers, 73, died Monday, March 12, 2007. A graveside service was held March 17 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

She was born June 11, 1933 in Tennessee. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Ray Joyner and Johnny Clayton Joyner and one brother, Thomas Lyle.

Survivors include one son, Gary Joyner of Nashville; one daughter, Donna McGee of Rocky Mount; one brother, Richard Lyle of Chattanooga, Tenn., and eight grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, Nashville.
