Lucy Trevathan Breedlove, 88, of Rocky Mount, passed away on  Thursday, October 6, 2011. She was the  daughter of R.D and Sue Winifred Trevathan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 28 years John Edward Breedlove.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Breedlove Goswick of Greenville and husband Wayne; three granddaughters;  sister- in-law, Annie Laura Trevathan of Tarboro; and many nieces and nephews.

A service was held at 2 p.m.  Saturday October 8, 2011 at West Edgecombe Baptist Church, 13821 NC 43 North, Rocky Mount. Immediately following  committal service was held at Pineview Cemetery. Officiating the services were  Dr. Harry Kahn and Rev. Terry Brooks.
