RED OAK – Irma M. Griffin, age 85, passed away  on Monday, September 26, 2011. A native of Nash County, she was the daughter of the late William Seth Mincher and Ethel Smith Mincher.

The family will receive friends and relatives 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to remember Mrs. Griffin will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Bostian officiating. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
