Patricia Lynne Barbour Newsome, 65, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. She was born March 17, 1946 in Johnston County daughter of the late Milford Lee and Irene Harrell Lewis.

 She is survived by her husband Marvin Newsome; sons Dana Shane Barbour and his wife Penny and Shawn Lamar Barbour and his wife Sherrie all of Nashville and Jamie Marse Barbour and wife Tonya of Dunn; daughters Susan Lynne Murray and Jackie Barbour Royster both of Rocky Mount; brother Milford Lee (Butch) Lewis, Jr. of Nashville; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at 7 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating.
