Doris Proctor Rose Davis, age 75 of Rocky Mount passed away September 24, 2011  in Nash General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother Walter and Fannie Proctor, husbands Marshall F. Rose and Jasper Jr. Davis, Sister Elizabeth Smith, and two brothers

She is survived by her daughter Margaret Rose and David Narron of Rocky Mount, and son Walter and Sandra Rose of Rocky Mount, three stepdaughters Faye Griffin of Castalia, Margaret Davis of Colorado, Robbin Broome of Marion, stepson Jasper Davis of Red Oak, niece Margaret Ruth Flora of Rocky Mount, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday September 27, at 11a.m. in the chapel of Johnsons Funeral and Cremations 661 English Road Rocky Mount with the Rev. Dr. James Drake. The internment followed in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Baptist Church at 5399 Old Wilson Road Rocky Mount 27801, or your local Humane Society.
