Lee S. Hyde, Sr., 68, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.  He was born August 16, 1943 in Nash County son of the late Harold Franklin and Cora Lee Pridgen Hyde.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Colbert Hyde; son Lee (Buck) Hyde, Jr.; two grandsons,; one granddaughter; one great granddaughter ; two special daughters, Theresa Wyman and Vickie Bone; brothers, Frankie and Wife Carol Hyde and Harold Hyde, Jr.;

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Coggin officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
