Maurice “Philip” Sullivan died Thursday, September 08, 2011 at Nash General Hospital.

He was predeceased by his “Good Buddy,” Stephanie’s husband, Donald F. Brown.

Survivors include: his sister and guardian, Stephanie Sullivan Brown; and three cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 7:30pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Rocky Mount.

Memorials may be made in Philip’s memory to the Rocky Mount-Nash Chapter of Special Olympics, P.O. Box 1180, Rocky Mount NC 27802 or to Windham Hose Company #1, Windham NY 12496 to help with the devastation wrought by Hurricane Irene.
