Rossie King, 57, passed away, Saturday, September 3, 2011. He was born February 14, 1954 in Edgecombe County. He was the son of the late John D. Vick and Ruth Winstead Wooten.     

Survivors include his wife Brenda King; his step-father and mother Dave and Ruth Wooten; two sons, Corey King and wife Dawn and Kenzie King; two step-daughters, Brittany Satterwhite and Brandy Satterwhite; one half sister Teresa King Laws; and two grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Mills officiating.  Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
