Lois Dozier Norville, 86, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011. She was born in Nash County on May 8, 1925 to Roland W. and Lois Boone Dozier. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ray Pitt Norville.

She is survived by her son, Terry Ray Norville and spouse Jackie, her sister, Frances Guill of Asheboro and two grandchildren. 

Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 31, at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Reverend David Benson officiating. The family received friends following the service and at other times at the home of Terry Norville, 3004 Berkley Drive, Rocky Mount.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Englewood United Methodist Church.
