ROCKY MOUNT - Beula Mae Battle, 89, died August 14, 2011.  Funeral services were held Friday at St. Paul Baptist Church on Winstead Avenue in Rocky Mount at 12 noon.  Rev. Dennis Jones officiated.  Burial was at Gardens of Gethsemane.
