HYATTSVILLE – Lauretta Jean Battle Porter, 52, of Hyattsville, Maryland, and formerly of Rocky Mount, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Light of Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. The interment took place immediately following the service in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Battleboro.
