ROCKY MOUNT – Frances Evon Battle, 64, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

A visitation was held from 4 - 6 p.m., on Sunday, August 7, 2011, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home.  Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 8, 2011, at Church of God of Deliverance in Rocky Mount.  The interment took place immediately following the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
