ROCKY MOUNT  - Mrs. Sophie Mae Scott, 81, of Rocky Mount, died on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Nash Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rocky Mount.

A visitation for Mrs. Scott will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Little Rock Baptist Church, 3744 Highway 1178, in Bunkie, LA.  The interment will take place immediately following the service in the Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
