ROCKY MOUNT - Mr. Elijah A. Brown, 32, of Rocky Mount, died on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

A visitation for Mr. Brown was held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 Noon, on Monday, August 1, 2011, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home.  The interment took place immediately following the service in the Oakland Cemetery in Nashville.
