Eva Winstead Roberson passed away Saturday at Autumn Care of Nashville. She was born in Nash County October 8, 1934 to the late Carl and Susie Moss Winstead and was preceded in death by her husband Lynwood Roberson, Sr. and brother, Winslow Winstead.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations Chapel with the Rev. Caswell Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family received friends on Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at 5020 Brassfield Dr., Rocky Mount.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Gurganus and husband Jack; son, Lynwood Roberson, Jr. and wife Paisley; brother, Ray Winstead and wife Barbara; 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
