Jackie F. Grimes, 47, passed away, Thursday, June 16, 2011. She was born May 23, 1964 in Nash County. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Temple.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Woodruff Temple of Sharspburg, one daughter, Kristy Lynn Shaw Norris of Big Stone Gap, VA., two brothers, Randy Temple and wife Sandy and Ricky Temple of Sharpsburg, two sisters, Vickie Tharrington of Nashville, Nancy Temple and life partner Pam Barfield of Greenville.  

A memorial service was held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Visitation followed the service.
