Mary Ann “Doddie” Alston, 64, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville. Burial followed at the Philadelphia Church Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters Shirley Jean Robinson of Woodbury, N.J. and Beatrice Alston of Rocky Mount.

A visitation was held Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 6-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
