Whitakers – Sidney Hudson, 70, of Whitakers, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 27, 2011.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Word Tabernacle in Rocky Mount. The interment will take place immediately following the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
