HOLLISTER - Funeral services for Joe Edward Hedgpeth, 87, who died Friday, May 20, 2011 will be Thursday, May 26 at 1 p.m. at Walters Chapel Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Tillman-Lynch Cemetery with Elder Hurley Richardson officiating.

Surviving: wife, Lucille R. Hedgepeth of the home; daughters, Addrene Millicent Armstrong of Ellicott City, Md., Julia Bullock of San Diego, Calif., Wilhemina Price of Ocean Pines, Md., Jennifer Johnson of Rocky Mount; sons, Chester A. Hedgepeth of Red Oak, Sharrod C. Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount; sisters, Collesta Richardson  and Charlene Holley, both of Hampton Va., Sandy Cooper of Sharpsburg; brothers, Thomas Hedgepeth of Hollister, Johnnie Hedgepeth of Littleton, Verne Hedgepeth of Culpepper Va., Carlton Hedgepeth of Hampton, Va.,  Leonard Hedgepeth of Fayetteville, Calvin Hedgepeth of York, Pa., Quinton Hedgepeth of Nashville, Donnell Hedgepeth of Hollister, Michael Hedgepeth of Raleigh; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be today (Wednesday, May 25) from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Walters Chapel Holiness Church, Hollister.
