Michael Benton Taylor, 53, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at his home in Whitakers. He was born in Nash County, NC on January 19, 1958 to the late James Milton and Lillian Clark Taylor.

Michael was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Milton Taylor. He is survived by his sisters: Carolyn T. Pittman, wife of the late Jimmy Pittman of Rocky Mount and Joyce T. Wilkins and husband Ronnie of Rocky Mount, Barbara T. Kannon of Wake Forest.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Fellowship Church in Nashville with Pastor Michael Johnson and Bishop Kenneth Johnson, officiating. Visitation will follow till 9 p.m. Interment will be in Whitakers Town Cemetery on Thursday at 11a.m. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Fellowship Church, 1114 S. First St. Nashville, NC 27856.
