NASHVILLE - Wilbert Joseph Vick, 85, passed away, Sunday, May 8, 2011. He was the son of the late, Joseph and Isadore Coggin Vick. Wilbert was born September 29, 1925 in Nash County.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years,  Sylvia Smith Vick, one son, Joseph Vick and wife Billie Jean of Nashville, one daughter, Gail Ivey and husband Robert of Spring Hope, one brother, J.T. Vick and wife Mollie of Nashville, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service was Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
