ROCKY MOUNT – Erma Dickens, 64, of Rocky Mount, died on Friday, April 15, 2011, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A visitation for Mrs. Dickens was held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home.  Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Light of Peace Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.  The interment took place immediately following the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
