The funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at First Baptist Church of Middlesex.

The wake was 6:30- 8 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at United Christian Center, 10305 Old Lewis School Road.

Surviving: wife, Mabel Sanders Wiggins; sons, Leon Sanders (Angie) of Wilson and Demetris Wiggins of Middlesex; father and mother, Lonnie Wiggins Jr., and Allease Wiggins of Middlesex; siblings, Joyce Williams (Earnest) of Garner, Lonnie Wiggins III (Clara) of Middlesex, Danny Wiggins of Cary, Clyde Wiggins (Elouise) of Brooklyn, N.Y., Dwight Wiggins, Anthony Wayne Wiggins, Tracy Wiggins-Elliott (Maurice), Sharon Wiggins-Mills (Calvin) all of Middlesex; 3 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
