ROCKY MOUNT - John Williams, Jr., 78, of Rocky Mount, departed this life on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on March 29, 2011 in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Word Tabernacle Church in Rocky Mount with the Rev. James Gailliard officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
