Mrs. Tami Lynn Boone Proctor, age 52, of Rocky Mount,  died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Nash General Hospital.

Born on April 10, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Brantley Boone and Barbara Strickland Boone of Rocky Mount.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jacob Eugene “Gene” Proctor of the home; a daughter, Katharine Elizabeth Proctor of Rocky Mount; a son, Dillon Boone Proctor of Rocky Mount; a brother, Mike Boone and his wife, Dianne, of Winston-Salem.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Givens and Rev. Keith Griffin   officiated. Burial  followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

The family received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
