Spring Hope - Mr. Daniel Lee Pope, 71, of Spring Hope, died on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Somserset Court in Rocky Mount.

A Visitation for Mr. Pope was held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 22, 2011, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home.  Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at L. N. Forbes Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street, in Wilson.  Rev. Richard Battle  officiated.  The interment took place immediately following the service in the Rest Haven Cemetery on Forbes Road in Wilson.
