Mr. Billy Ray Glover, age 80, of Nashville, NC passed away in his home. He was born June 4, 1930 in Wake County, North Carolina to the late Jimmy and Ada Hopkins Glover. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, Harold, Jimmy, Clint, Willis.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Cary Glover of Nashville; two daughters, Dianne Proctor of Rocky Mount and Tammy DeBow of Nashville; four sons, Billy Glover of Rocky Mount, Timothy Ray Glover of Nashville, Randy Glover of New Bern, and Kenny Glover of Nashville; three sisters, Shirley Skinner of Saratoga, Nellie Hathaway of Lake City, FL, Jean Stone of Tampa, FL; two brothers, J.B. Glover of Rocky Mount and Bernard Glover of Rocky Mount.
The service honoring his life will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2 pm in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.
