FAYE COOPER REESE
ROCKY MOUNT, NC- Faye Cooper Reese, 70, died Monday, December 18, 2006. A native of Nash County, she was born August 3, 1936, daughter of Artest Cray and Rada Cockrell Cooper. She was a retired kindergarten teacher from Nashville Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Cooper, and her sisters, Melba Batchelor and Dorothy Evans.

Surviving are her husband, William Edward Reese of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Nan and Jeff Williams of Rocky Mount; daughter, Hope Reese of Rocky Mount; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Jennifer Reese of Holly Springs; grandsons, David Williams of Rocky Mount and Will and Walt Reese of Holly Springs.

The family received friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. Graveside services were held at 11 am Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Pineview Cemetery, Section 48 with Reverend Dwayne Alston officiating.

The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions can be made to Friends of Hospice, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or the Bryan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, 2200 W. Main Street, Suite A200, Box 3503 DUMC, Durham, NC 27705.
