HUBERT BERNARD TANT
Hubert Bernard Tant, 90, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010. He was born March 30, 1920 in Littleton, son of the late George and Minnie Tant. He was preceded in death by son, Jasper Hubert Tant and stepson, W.L. Joyner.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bettie Tant; stepdaughters, Doris Farrar of Nashville and Shirley Speight and husband George of Nashville; son, Roger Bernard Tant of Nashville; stepson, Herbert Joyner of Rocky Mount; sister, Myrtle Hobbs of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to remember Hubert will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Gerald Parker officiating. Visitation with the family was held from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Arrangements by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC.
