Eugene Marshall High, 73, of Bailey passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. He was born April 21, 1937. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. Craig Welbaum will officiate.
The family received friends 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and at other times will be at the residence.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rebecca “Becky” Lamm High; children, Dean High and wife, Debbie W. High, Amy H. Bryant and husband, Joel Bryant, and Lee High, all of Bailey; 4 grandchildren; brother, Toney High and wife, Maxine L. High.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ruby L. High.
