Elmarie Williams, 62, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery. Bishop Brian Alston officiated.
Open visitation was held Friday, July 9, 2010 from 3-8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
She is survived by sisters Joyce Bell of Bayboro, Shirlene Graham of the home, Gloria Jean Leonard and Bonita Massenburg, both of Rocky Mount; brothers Jimmy Earl Williams of Nashville, Russell Lee Williams of Philadelphia, PA, Roscoe Williams of Raleigh and Glenn Bert Williams of Rocky Mount.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home.
