HOWARD CLEMMON FREEMAN
Howard Clemmon Freeman, 86, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010. He was born October 23, 1923 in Nash County, son of the late Jimmy Lee Freeman and Mary Smith Freeman. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Freeman, Alton Freeman and Chesley Freeman; and sister, Frances Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lizzie Gray Robinson Freeman; daughter, Terry Ann Freeman of Rocky Mount; son Gordon Freeman and wife Trudy of Whitakers;  one granddaughter;  two great-grandsons; sisters, Joyce Smith and Mavis Richardson.

The family received friends and relatives from 6-8:00p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A service to remember Howard will be held at 11:00a.m. Wednesday morning in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dave Grogan will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Peoples Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, 11972 East NC 97 Highway, Rocky Mount NC 27803.
