JAMES M. KING
NASHVILLE  - James M. King, 86, passed away on Friday, June 18th, 2010. Jimmy was born July 19, 1923 in Duplin County to the late Marion and Estelle Eldridge King. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ruby Gupton Matthews, two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by Jimmy and Raye Matthews, Marshall and Jo Ann (Matthews) Baines all of Nashville, Jimmy and Patsy (Matthews) Griffin of Advance, PJ and Barbara (Matthews) Faulkner of Louisburg and Sammy and Lib Matthews of Knightdale. He also leaves thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.

The family welcomed friends from 4 until 6 p.m.  on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside services were Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11:00AM at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville with the Pastor Mike Edwards officiating.
